These are such great photos and omg that dress I need it to liveThis is my photoshoot at Flashes and Lashes, a Nottingham-based photographer and make-up artist event.
Normally, I mostly look like this.
So you can imagine how freaky it is to see photos like the ones above.

It’s Fatshion February! Domino Dollhouse is having a challenge to use some of their items in a set and get 20 percent off (check out the T&C here: http://dominodollhouse.blogspot.com) through the end of March!
I really wanted this set to be actually plus size friendly and incorporate a number of looks. The bottom layer is actually a minidress from ASOS Curve. There are also a bunch of “easter eggs” hidden in the set for different looks - switch the shoes and just wear the minidress and accessories for a great day-to-night LBD, or throw on a spiked ring and biker jacket for a punkier choice.
This is me after a night of roller derby and dumplings. I’m 5’3 and an Australian size 16-18; the skirt is a size 18 but the top was an op-shop find, originally from Kmart, in an Australian size 8. I tried it on hoping like hell it would fit and whilst it’s rather snug in the arms, it’s one of my favourite op-shop purchases and only cost me $4.
Another one nabbed from fathack, which i adore! :D I love think-outside-the-tag advocacy. Try it on! It requires a bit of investigation of stretchy materials and cuts, and not being too disappointed if something doesn’t work out, but it’s easy to pick up.

I just had to post this pic I spotted on Nicole of A Well-Rounded Venture’s blog about Fatty Affair 2012. Not that everyone else on the blog isn’t beautiful! It’s just whoa, this dress, where the hell did sie get it?? The ensemble is pretty amazing.
[Edit: Oops, forgot to note - that’s Milo! And the pronouns are fixed! I’m sorry!]
What can I say? I love bows, apparently, and it all culminated in this outfit.
I wear my DD petticoat with A LOT of things but I can never seem to get a good picture, so I’ve attempted to show it off a little bit. It’s so frilly and soft.

Brand spankin’ new Bettie Paige Clothing dress- OOTD
Tonight was Nick’s birthday party. I gave him one of his Christmas presents early (1940s smoking jacket) and he gave me one of my presents early- this amazing Bettie Page Clothing dress.
I cannot get over how MUCH I LOVE this dress! I’ve purchase many BPC dresses in the past, but this one takes the cake. They’ve really come into themselves with their plus size line. Everything fits perfectly, from the arms to the waist- everything ! Not a single complaint! I know I’ve told you all about BPC before, but I cannot stress it enough- get yourself something! I receive dozens of questions a week about my BPC dresses; how they fit, are they worth the price, how is the quality, etc. …YES YES YES! So worth it!
This dress is thick stretch bengaline- perfect for winter. It fits my ample hips and tummy , and hugs in all the right places….I could go on an on. I will make a better, more articulate post on Monday, more of a formal review… for now?! I retire!
Happy Saturday everyone XOXO
Reblogged this without the original comments cos they were pretty awful. But chubbycartwheels looks FABULOUS in this outfit so I had to post it here.
