I can’t believe I’ve never seen this before but I’m so glad I found it!
Founded by Anna Guest-Jelley, Curvy Yoga is for people who want to live the lives they imagine, today. Who don’t want to wait until they’re flexible, skinny, have enough money, etc. to start treating themselves well. To start recognizing and achieving their goals–not the goals they think they should have, but the goals that they’re almost afraid to admit to anyone else because they are so out there.

And also, because of the focus on embodiment, being happy with you, and self-care. They make the very important point that people with varying body sizes and ability shouldn’t be EXPECTED to all move and learn the same way and that practices that work should be shared and good practictioners should be passed along - that your goals and personal needs are important, it’s not your body that’s a problem if you’re struggling, it’s the method.

If you’re a fan too and you’re in the Nashville area, they offer classes, but the blog is for everyone, it looks like.
